MudFootMusic is a music booking agency based in Santa Fe, NM. Our mission is to create and sup­port a community in which local and nationally-touring musicians cooperate with music promoters and festival/event organizers to bring great live music to the people who appreciate it. The focus is on music as a community rather than an industry.

MudFootMusic was started by a family who, displaced from New Orleans during Hurri­cane Katrina, recognized that both New Orleans and their new home of Santa Fe had rich, musically diverse cultures. Born from a longing for the unique sounds of New Orleans and an ap­preciation of the musical culture of the southwest, MudFootMusic is a platform for bringing these two worlds together.

These days, MudFootMusic not only brings the music of the dirty south to the mountain west, but also vice-versa, booking and promoting a wealth of amazing bands based in both areas (and other areas, too).
